Greek students are the leaders on campus
today and the leaders of our communities tomorrow. From student government, to
honor societies, sports to the performing arts, Greeks are leaders in all areas
of campus life. This is also true in
today’s society. CEOs, congressmen, lawyers, mayors, investors, actors,
producers and presidents are often former Greek students. This is not by
accident. Leadership and social responsibility are core principles instilled in
Greek students from day one. These values prepare Greek students to significantly
impact their campuses.
Engaging students with Israel now ensures Israel’s future
relationship with North America in all areas
from Wall Street to Broadway; Washington to Jerusalem. Israel Amplified seeks to mobilize the Greek
community by training 100 students in the essential elements of Israel engagement.
Just as the US is Israel's natural ally in the world, the Greek community is Israel’s
natural ally on campus. Israel Amplified will explore why this is and how it relates to
everyday Greek life. By the end of the conference the participants will create
personalized action plans, which will serve as a pledge to apply the lessons of
the conference to campus. The work done at Israel Amplified is only the
beginning for the participants, their campuses and the greater Greek
community.

Why Music? Each Year music plays a huge role in the structure of Israel Amplified. Every session has a quote attached to it. This is done to help focus each session as well as remind students to be creative and not to be afraid to think outside of the box.
Israel Amplified recognizes that Greek students are mobile, they are leaders, they are
philanthropic and they are social. Israel Amplified seeks fit Israel engagement into these characteristics in order to unite the Greek community with Israel. This
cannot be done through facts and figures alone. Creativity, passion and
heart must also be employed in order to strike the correct chords with students.
In order to engage, one must connect with people. Just like there is a
different style of music for every person, there are different ways to connect different people with Israel. At
Israel Amplified students will look to find the song that inspires them for Israel
engagement.
